CIO at VILNIUS TECH – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University
For and last 5 years I am the CIO of one of the biggest universities in Lithuania. It allows me to digitalize different areas of the university and help enhance university processes.
I am chairman of the higher education institutions consortium EDINA. This consortium was established in 2010 and serves SaaS services for 22 institutions in Lithuania.
From the business side, my journey started about 7 years ago. The first steps were not so successful, but I learned from my mistakes and did not gave up. Before I started to sell Moodle LMS services my business plan was to develop VR modules for Airport ground services trainings. But then COVID-19 happened and I stopped everything. But because in parallel I already had a few customers with Moodle, I decided that I want to accelerate this idea and expand my services. In June it will be two years when I become Moodle partner and during this period I grew up the business 10 times. Now I working with 10+ countries and planning continuously grow my business.
